Mike deserves much more respect than he is getting. Beltre is so overrated and Mike has proven himself when he is in great shape. Theo is taking this trade thing to a whole new level. I can only imagine how Mike feels right now. He is a great guy and a great player.

I totally agree with all of the previous comments. Lowell is still a great player and I would take him any day before Beltre. Beltre was just throwing money away in my opinion.

Who can believe anything this guys says 2 weeks ago he was more then comfortable with Kotchman, Where is he right not?This guy was the world series MVP and gave him no chance to show that he was in good enough shape to return to form. Instead they just said he was no longer any good. Francona is just Theo’s puppet and will go along with whatever he wants period. Francona says he loves mike Lowell, Yet was going to dump him to texas and pay 9 million of his salary. He doesn’t even know the age of mike lowell.

I totally agree with albsoxfan. Mike has not been allowed to thoroughly heal before being judged as unfit. That is a lack of respect. I hope he completely heals and has the career year of his life and sticks it to Theo! Go Mike!
