Trade Deadline: Indians reportedly interested in Kosuke Fukudome

With outfielders Shin-Soo Choo and Grady Sizemore currently on the disabled list, the Indians need outfield help and are reportedly interested in Cubs outfielder Kosuke Fukudome, tweets FoxSports.com’s Ken Rosenthal. He describes the talks between the two teams as “serious.”

Fukudome is hitting .273 with three home runs and 13 RBIs this season.

The Indians are in second place in the AL Central, two games behind the first-place Tigers.
