He’s making too much $$$. Rockies are tight with the buck. 2012 is a key season for Youkilis (with the RS) he’s not going anywhere.

Either he recovers well from his surgeries and has a relatively inj. free season or I’m afraid he’s going to be prone to health issues that will greatly reduce his effectiveness. I hope it’s the former.

I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

If the Sox could sign Aramis Ramirez, then trade Youk for a good starter, I think they’d be ahead of the game. Youk is much too demonstrative and I don’t think it goes over too well with his teammates. He’s seen his better days. So sign Ramirez and Beltran for Youk and Drew money, and use Youk, Lowrie, Anderson, MacDonald, Reddick or Kalish, Levarnway, Doubrount and a couple of the “never will be” minor league pitchers for a good starter and reliever.

Lets face everyone loves Youk. But for Youk sakes and the teams sake I think both need a fresh start in 2012 with Youk playing for new team.Thiswouldbe the start of some big moves Sox need to make.

Actually Dano, I wouldn’t bet that many people like Youk, let alone love him. In fact 2 years ago my son said to me “I can’t wait for the Sox to trade Youkilis so I can hate him.”
