Think about this, the patriots had the worst defense with a strength of schedule at 31. they were 13-3. so were the 49′s with strength of schedule also 31. The rams had the toughest schedule in the NFL and were 2-14. If your defense is that bad against bad teams you are very lucky to get as far as they did.

So if Bill is such great coach, then why do the pats have no receiver’s who are a deep threat? Why are they one of the worst secondaries in football? Why for years they haven’t drafted a pass rusher? Their strength of schedule was 31 and were still rated one of the worst defenses in football. What if they played a # 1 schedule? Does anybody really think they would still be a 13-3 team? i doubt it. Brady is a all time great one of the best ever, but he has too much pressure on him to be great every game. There record in the last 13 playoff games? 7-6 that is not great, that is average. Well people keep saying we get to the playoffs all the time, the AFC has been weak for a couple of years now, most of the stronger teams are in the NFC. SF, N.O. G.B. Giants all of these teams are better then anybody in the AFC. The pats need to draft better player’s and go after what they need

Sorry folks but Im a Steelers fan. Just wanted to pass on my condolences to you Patriots fans and wanted to add that if Brady can be healthy and your Defense can improve just slightly The Patriots will be contenders for at least the next 4 years. Much as I hate to admit it, Tom Brady is the Best of the Best in the game today.Looking forward to playing The Pats again.
