Its not for a safety, the position for which nfl players have the lowest length for career span (other than running back of course). I expect them to go after a front 7 player on D and select the highest remaining player on their board. I’m hoping its Kuechly, which would free up Mayo to be more of a playmaker.

I’d rather Pats get two players who will work into a rotation rather than a safety who’s probably a primadonna because of his “far and away the best safety” status. They’ll spend too much $$ and then won’t resign him or will eventually cut him a la Samuel, Meriweather.
