Huge pick ip the way alfonzo dennard is playing then putting devin mccourty at saftey when chung is back the defence will be solid!

  • Belichick&Brady

It’ll be improved but in no way will it be solid. It’ll cut down on the defensive breakdowns and wide open recievers but there’s still lots to improve on. If Talib plays to his potential and Dennard continues to improve, then chung would be the only downside. The guy is horrible against the pass and tries to much to make big hits instead of wrapping up the reciever. The pats need to draft Matt Elam, he was also inconsistent against the pass but is much improved this year. The guy has a nonstop motor and nose for the ball. If he’s gone Tony Jefferson or Kenny Vaccaro need to be considered

Talib will do wel. He’s got natural physical ability – showed it in his runback – followed blocks well.  He’s a good tackler.  The coverage is more mental than physical – he’ll do better next few weeks. Best thing – he frees up McCourtney to play safety and plugs the hole on the corner where McCourtney was not doing well.
    TPM.

I hope he becomes our next Asante Samuel!

We might have a game changer here that will take us to the superbowl. Well done Aqib.

This is a match made in heaven. Talib will rub off on the Pat’s secondary… (and then more). And the Pats will rub off on Talib. Dennard is the same skill level player, so… BAM!!>> Fixed! I’m no Chung fan. I think McCourty, Wilson and Gregory are the way to go, and they’ll be fine. Damned fine. I’d rather see Ebner and Cole getting reps than Chung or Arrington. They can go away anytime now. The rest of the D is fabulous when they’re ‘up’. Talib was that spark that can keep them all fired up.
